Anthony F. Iovino, Esq. received his undergraduate
degree from the University of Richmond, and is a 1982 graduate
of St. John's University School of Law. Tony leads the litigation
arm of the firm, with extensive experience in family and matrimonial
law, corporate litigation (shareholder disputes, dissolutions,
etc.), personal injury claims, zoning, and general state and
federal litigation.
Tony has received an "AV" rating from the prestigious
Martindale Hubbell publication, its highest rating. He is admitted
to practice in the State of New York, and the federal Courts,
including the United States Supreme Court and is a member of
the Nassau County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association
and the New York State Trial Lawyer's Association.
Tony serves as an Early Neutral Evaluator as part of the Nassau
County Supreme Court Matrimonial program which helps litigants
reach early settlements and is regularly appointed as a Referee
by the Supreme Court in foreclosure matters. He has taught continuing
legal education courses to other attorneys through the St. John's
University CLE Program.
Tony has represented numerous community groups and non-profit
organizations, helping to form them and representing them in
both litigation and non-litigation matters. He has frequently
represented community groups before zoning boards.
In 2006, Tony was honored, together with the former Surrogate
of Nassau County, the Honorable Raymond Radigan, by the United
New Yorkers for Choice in Education for his contribution to educational
freedom in New York State.
In 2007, Tony was named "Kiwanian of
the Year" by the Oceanside Kiwanis Club. In 2008, he received
the prestigeous "Citizen of the Year" award from the
Chamber of Commerce of Oceanside.
Tony lives in Rockville Centre with his wife, Angela, and their
two daughters, and is active in community affairs, serving on
the Boards of Directors of several non-profit organizations.
He is a former Trustee of the Oceanside Board of Education. |
