PHILOSOPHY
BONDI & IOVINO is a true full-service law firm, established in 1986. Joseph Bondi has concentrated on business law, real estate and estate work since his graduation from St. John’s School of Law in 1972. Anthony Iovino, St. John’s Law Class of 1982, concentrates on the litigation and matrimonial areas of the law. Each of the associates has developed a concentration in specific areas of the practice so that the combined efforts of our partners, associates, and of counsel, allow us to provide our clients with the counseling necessary for any legal need that may arise.
We believe that people need legal counsel for “life’s events.” Some clients, like a large corporation or an employee’s union, may need to consult with their attorneys frequently. Others may need their attorneys for once-in-a-lifetime events, such as the adoption of a child. Our practice rests on a wide base of established clients, with a steady flow of new clients seeking legal counseling for themselves or their businesses. We represent a variety of large and small corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and individuals.
Our practice emphasizes the law fields of personal injury, matrimonial, education, real estate, land use and zoning, landlord/tenant, bankruptcy, debt collections, corporate and partnership, non-profit organizations, health law, estates, wills and trusts, and elder law.
Bondi & Iovino has received an “AV” rating from the prestigious Martindale Hubbell publication, its highest rating, representing “very high to preeminent” legal ability and “very high” general ethical standards.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Our attorneys participate actively in bar and civic affairs. Our attorneys are members of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations, and have actively participated in Nassau County Bar committees. We have held leadership positions in such organizations as the Huntington Ballet Theater, Oceanside School District Board of Education, Oceanside Kiwanis, and Business Network International.
In addition, our firm regularly gives back to the community in large and small ways. For example, we regularly organize book drives to serve various veterans’ groups, and our entire staff participates by collecting from their own neighborhoods and networks, and by organizing and boxing the books to be sent to the vets.
